Unfortunately Pushin Gold, aka Pickle, suffered an inguinal hernia June 5, 2008. Fortunately he survived the surgery of this very critical condition. For those that don't know what an inguinal hernia is....it's where a section of small intestines falls through the inquinal ring and into the testicle. It's one of those freak things in life that can just happen. The condition cut the blood circulation to both the testicle and section of small intestine. Pickle lost his left testicle and a small section of intestine. As bad as that sounds....he's alive and will still be able to breed with his remaining testicle. He spent 11 days at the Sapulpa Equine Hospital with Dr Wallace (she's awesome by the way!!!). He came home on day 12 and had to return two days later due to a large intestine impaction. He simply was not drinking enough water. Now he's back home again and doing well. He still faces a long period of recovery, but should be able to go back to his full routine in 120 days. We fully expect his book to open back up in 2009 and he will be back breeding mares. Until then......we ask that you keep him in prayer. We are blessed to have our boy still with us and we thank those that prayed along with us when we were going through those critical periods.

The Cookie Bandit (AKA Chip) is maturing nicely. With his beautifully sculpted neck, pretty color, long thick mane/tail, and his nice solid gait, we couldn't be happier with the way Chip is turning out. Sired by Alens Belfast Bandit, winner of 20 World Champion titles and 8 World Grand Champion titles. His dam is a double bred Paint The Town mare.
Chip has been DNA tested to be HOMOZYGOUS for both the tobiano AND black gene. He will never produce a red based foal. His foals from non dilute mares will be either buckskin, bay, black, or smokey black, and ALL will be tobiano.

I'M PHANTOM OF THE OPERA

Ok.....I just couldn't leave out Phantom from our stallion page even though he's not standing. He IS a stallion so he earns a spot on our stallion page :) Some of you might remember Phantom as a baby on our website. He was cute and adorable as a baby and is stunning as a coming 3 yr old. You might also notice he looks a lot like another stallion on this page....yep, Pushin Gold is Phantom's proud sire. Phantom's currently in training in TN. As can be seen in these pictures Phantom's just not a pretty boy but a pretty talented boy!!
